ConSentry Networks Integrates Check Point’s industry-leading Integrity Clientless security technology

Milpitas, Calif. – February 13, 2006 – ConSentry Networks, a leading provider of secure LAN solutions,  today announced the integration of ConSentry’s Secure LAN Controller with Check Point® Software Technologies Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP) Integrity Clientless Security (ICS) technology. The company will be unveiling the integration at the RSA Conference US 2006 in San Jose February 13-17, Booth #2206.

By integrating ICS technology with its Secure LAN Controller, ConSentry can now deploy a dissolvable agent to securely manage mobile, guest, and uncontrolled desktops attempting to access the LAN. As the first LAN security company to embed this technology, ConSentry’s Secure LAN Controller delivers automatic spyware disablement, ensure session confidentiality, and enforces network access security policies via an easily downloadable browser plug-in.

“Ensuring endpoint compliance with corporate security standards is essential to protecting the LAN,” said Paul Weinstein, vice president of business development at Check Point.  “ConSentry’s on-box integration with Integrity Clientless Security provides customers with unparalleled ease-of-deployment by seamlessly leveraging our clientless agents to ensure only compliant machines can connect to the network.”

As part of the custom integration with the ICS technology, ConSentry has joined the OPSEC™ (Open Platform for Security) alliance program from Check Point.  OPSEC is the industry’s open, multi-vendor security framework that guarantees customers the broadest choice of best-of-breed integrated applications and deployment platforms that support Check Point’s Perimeter, Internal and Web security solutions.

ConSentry’s custom integration of Check Point’s ICS with our Secure LAN Controller provides us with a significant advantage in supporting a wide range of network admission control solutions,”  said ConSentry’s vice president of marketing, Faizel Lakhani, “Leveraging the technology of a market leader like Check Point will enable our customers to make flexible decisions regarding their NAC deployments.”
