Securing VPN Access

One of the user groups that presents a particular risk for enterprises is remote users accessing the LAN over a VPN.

The key issues are:

• remote machines are more susceptible to infection
• remote connections are less trustworthy
• IT needs flexible policy support

• context-specific – reduced access when remote
